Can anyone tell me what the dates are each year for Mockingbird days in Monroeville when they put on a production of To Kill A Mockingbird? I believe it's in may each year? Thanks,

If you look under Monroeville's Chamber of Commerce, you'll find a listing for the play. If you write to them, they'll send you a package of information. My husband and I were there In April, and loved every minute of it!!

Sounds like the journal has given this guy a spot to voice his opinion. If you don't like it maybe you should write an article to the editor and get your opinions voiced. Alot of people get sick of the gay and lesbian community pushing their rights on everybody. America's founding fathers would turn over in their graves if they were witnessing what is happening in this country. We have illegal aliens getting the same healthcare, their language shoved down our kids throats in school, services out the wazoo, and yet they pay no taxes thanks to those same liberals in Washington that say this is America. Way back you came to this country not under the fence, shoved in trunks of cars but the right way, learned the language and became a citizen and were proud to be here. Now along with all these other groups they are owed something. This isn't America anymore. So to my point, why should he have to apologize for his opinion when he has the freedom of speech and a right to his own opinion. So what if his opinion hurt somebodies feelings. Deal with it.

Part of the charm of Monroeville is that it is NOT as progressive as some other places. WE were a bit disappointed that not much was open on Saturdays, but the overall experience was very nice. We want to go back and see the play again next year.

It isn't supposed to be progressive. That is the charm of a small southern town. Don't like it? MOVE. I wish I still lived there.

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Aries

It's difficult to know whether you're being realistic or gloomy today, especially when thinking about matters dear to your heart. For instance, you might be concerned about the welfare of a relative and wonder whether you're making mountains out of molehills. Do your best to remain cheerful and positive, not bogged down in nameless fears.
