According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 72 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 149 complaints and reports the following arrests: Toby James Adams, 35, 903 Anderson Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 14, 2013 at 3:45 pm on a warrant for violation of a protective order.

Two men arrested: One accused of hammer attack
Two men were arrested at Solar Apartments in Morgan City after one of the men alleged that the other man attempted to strike him with a hammer, according to Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch.

A 21-year-old Bayou Vista man, who was charged with first-degree murder in April, was arrested Tuesday after a St. Mary Parish Sheriff's detective learned that the man twice had sex with a 16-year-old girl, according to Sheriff Mark Hebert.
Two arrested on separate charges after stop sign violation in Bayou Vista
A 28-year-old Bayou Vista man and 28-year-old Patterson woman were arrested when a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign in Bayou Vista, and St. Mary Parish sheriff's narcotics detectives discovered oxycodone pills belonging to the man, and found out the woman was wanted on a theft warrant, according to Sheriff Mark Hebert.
