We were visiting the beach at time when mother realized that she could not find her boy and at least two beach goers were attempting to find the boy in deep waters meantime nearly drowned themselves. I was wondering why there were no life-guards on the labor day weekend? And was the boy found alive? what was the family's response to the inability of guarding the child during high waves?

The boy drowned. Drowning is horrible and people have no clue has fast you can be in danger when you go in the water. Once you get stuck in a tide you better be a strong swimmer.
