I am a passenger aboard the ship Holiday. we were in our cabin when we felt the ship turn real hard to the right. A few seconds later we heard an announcement, gobble, gobble, starboard, starboard. We assumed it was code. About 15 minutes later they was an announcement that a passenger was missing and everyone should go to the cabins. They took headcount. The comments we heard were tht this woman was drunk at the bar, and had said she was going to jump. I guess no one paid any attention. How then could she have been in the cabin with her husband as he said, and he woke up and heard alarms, There were no alarms.....he found her missing. We also heard she had a fight with her husband and earlier in the day had change clothes 3 times to go to dinner. Does that sound like someone that was going to commit suicide? I wonder. She was on her first cruise, celebrating her 50th birthday. She has a son an grandchild?????It seemd funny to me. We were delayed 12 hours in arriving in cozumel, and they ship did nothing to give us some accomodations for arriving late. we did not get to shop at all, due to arriving late. I know it was not thier fault, but also it was not ours.... I think it is foul play. This woman had everything to live for, why we should she end it? I was traveling with my grandkids and there would be no reason I would ever think of making them pay for my mental problems, if I had them. The whole trip for us was awful. The cruise line does not do anuthing about drunken people who like to take the party to the rooms. We did not sleep for 3 days. I hope whoever did this to this woman pay for it.....god bless her soul
