Teen shot and killed in Gardere area

Devon B. Corbin, 17, was shot and killed Sunday in the 8000 block of Granite Drive near Gardere Lane, an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman said in a news release.

It broke my heart to hear what happen to Devon. He was kind hearted and respectful around me. I will remember his smile and how helpful he was to his mother with his siblings. May he rest in peace.

Well the sad part is Gardere twenty years ago used to be a nice place to live.
But now the thugs and crack momma's have taken it over and now murder each other.
Yes it is sad that people in Gardere are killing each other but you can't make some people get along with their fellow man.
Just remember to stay away from that area day or night if you want to live.
The landlords down in that area don't care what happens in their buildings as long as the rent is paidon time.
