I can't even believe they are allowed on the streets of Brookville! What a joke. I got behind a golf cart in the valley with two adults in the front and 3 little kids (maybe 5 or 6 years old) goofing off in the rear seat with no seat belts on. Granted, it was only going 5 frigging miles an hour. They are not only a safety hazard, but a nuisance! Golf carts belong on the golf course - not on town streets! Just my opinion though as I am sure I will get hells' fury unleashed from all of the golf cart owners who are enjoying the newly passed golf cart ordinance! LOL!

We helped park the vehicles 3 days last week and enjoyed seeing people we haven't seen in years.
We own a golf cart and it is a huge help for my husband who suffers from arthritis in his hips. Without the golf cart my husband would never be able to go to places like the Tractor Show. People need to be more tolerant of older folks and realize they will one day be our age.

We enjoy going to many tractor shows, all over the try state, how ever we are not disabled, but there is a lot of ground to cover and walking is too much for older adults. There are many tractors driving around the grounds as well, so are you saying the tractor should not drive up and back as well ? It's a tractor show one of the few events older folks have left to enjoy in life. If they ban the golf carts I doubt their will be very many people participate. I do agree that the children should not be able to run around driving them, and they should not be allowed off the grounds and on the highway. But above all the show was great and the golf carts was a greater asset then a problem. Perhaps if it pissed you off so much, you should not attend these events.

The lawn mowers are part of the show dumbass, I guess the tractors should not be allowed to parade around either. You negative people make me sick. Every time this town has a successful event, some grouch ass has something to complain about. Stay home if you can't enjoy it. I'm sure the majority of people had a great time, and will again next year even without you.

No not at all I don't think there is anything at all wrong with having the golf carts or means to get the older folks around the grounds. I think if you would have read all the comments you would have seen that I'm not the one that was complaining all I said was his complaint should be taken to the town.

I don't mind the golf carts, etc. at the tractor show. It is a way for older folks or disabled folks to get out and enjoy events.

My complaint is that they shouldn't be allowed on town streets. From a car driver's perspective - they are a safety hazard on town streets - especially with kids on the back.

I believe the first comment was from someone pissed off, about the golf carts at the show. However, I agree with you in that they should not be on the highway, that should be inforced by the law, and not affect the tractor show.

Yeah, you are right. I inadvertently high-jacked the thread when I was complaining about golf carts in town. I didn't intent to trash the tractor show or the people attending. I think it is awesome that people of all ages are able to attend. I wasn't able to go this year, but heard it was really crowded = successful!

all i am saying is that there are people running around on golf carts/ lawn tractors/ gators that are not disabled. i think it would be better for the old folks an disabled to see more of the show if there wasnt those that does not need to be on carts/lawn tractors/ gators. i applaud the older folks for coming to the show its great but when there so many that doesnt need the machines it makes it harder for the older folks to get around.
