A Batesville man told Judge Bill McKenzie during Municipal Court Wednesday he did not run from the police because he was trying to a oejump over a mud hole.a James Fletcher, 113-B Cole Dr., Batesville, entered a not guilty plea to disorderly conduct by running from the police and public drunk.
