also wonder what he saw in the car that was consistant with drug use? A lighter? the guy had the drugs in his pocket....makes ya wonder if wells even saw anything to give him probably cause or whether he just made something up

I've heard horror stories about this guy! And I personally know the person he gave that 1mph over ticket to. Gives Cops a bad bad name!

I got a warning but still think the guy is a dick. Just watch how he carries himself in a normal conversation. He definatley has a few attitude problems. Should be behind a desk till he cools his muff

And how exactly is it that he carries himself in a normal conversation? I have talked to him at the school and he seemed like a normal guy to me. Maybe people who are doing things to get pulled over just always think people are picking on them. Try not breaking the law!

I love how a badge earnes peoples automatic respect. Well news is Wells does very little to deserve any respect. If anything he tries to downgrade every young person he pulls over. Maybe he talked to you like a normal person because your older and have kidds. Try talking to him as a 20y/o that he looks at as an easy revenue collection.

No but that revenue does go to the state which employes the police force. If you left it up to the cops they would take credit card at the car. Cops are suppossed to be visible in the community. Not trying to hide behinde signs and turns in an attempt to add a few tickets to his quota.
Wells is a joke. Mark my words.... He won't be a cop for long. The shear ammount of complaints this guy has filed againts him will get his job taken away.
Hope other cops pick up on the trend and use a little more humility when interacting with the public.

Only enforce laws you like

Never park anywhere they can't be seen

Show humility to everyone, even people who are completely disrespectful to them.

I dont know this "Wells" cop......but I sure wish he would come in my neighborhood.......hell I'd show him some good hiding spots......I for one would like to get the druggies out of this town period.

I worked my way through college and am a contributing, tax paying, member of society. I have a home and a car. Guess what? I PAY to get MY trash picked up every week.
I am a single, independant young woman with no illegitamate children for you to pay for. I have no problem with cops. Just the bad ones. Oh, one more thing... if you are scared of these idiot crack heads on the street, they've already won.
I don't mind working hard to help the less fortunate- i actually have a heart. Believe it or not, rudeness, not everyone who gets government assistance is a bottom feeder.
Maybe you would be best suited in China or Russia where you can hole yourself up and make plans to control the world.

Funny how it seems like decent people never get on here and complain about police. Just whiny kids who run into them all the time when they are breaking some.law because they have nothing else to do with their time. How often do you see fine upstanding citizens complaining? Not very because they don't do things to attract police attention!

How often do I see every day people complain about police abusing their power? I would say just about everytime I turn on the TV, or how about everytime an adult has a run in with Awfulsir Wells. The shear number of police complaints are stagering. Retraining these thugs is what needs to be done. How about teaching them a little honesty and humility?
Everytime someone questions a cops actions or intents they have the same come back. "If you were a law abiding citizen you wouldn't have this problem" Well facts be told most people who have a problem with the police are regular citizens.
Who could respect someone who claims to be a public official yet they can and offten do legally lie to you!
If they were all so up-standing they wouldn't have aproblem being videotaped. Most if not all local cops hate when you pull a camera out because it means his word wont be worth shit in court. They are taught to lie and be sneaky so they can entrapped normal people in a confusing mind game.

Amen to that Mr./Mrs. WoW. Who's the law enforcement for the law enforcement. Nobody thats who. They will cover for each other just as most coworkers do. They are only human, but unfortunately at the expence of both law abiding and other citizens. We could stand to have a few less on our payroll.
