Findlay firm offers low bid for Seneca project
By JIM MAURER STAFF WRITER TIFFIN -- Helms & Sons Excavating, Findlay, was the apparent low bidder for a contract to construct the Bascom wastewater treatment plant, when bids were opened Thursday by the Seneca County commissioners.
The Hancock County Sheriff's Office has been given an additional $20,000 for medical expenses at the county jail, after spending almost its entire budget for 2012 in the first two months of the year.
