Since under the leadership of Superintendent Lynette Maas, the Willow River School District has received satisfactory audit reports over the past few years.
Woman caught rummaging through home
On November 4, 2009, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Carlton County Deputies responded to the 2900 block of County Road 61 south of Mahtowa, where a homeowner reported she awoke to a woman unknown to her standing in her kitchen, rummaging through cupboards.
