Kentucky Set to Receive Aid for Winter Storm '09
The state of Kentucky is receiving 49 million dollars from the federal government to help clean up after Winter Storm '09, and more is to come.
Thousands remain without power; recovery helped by warm-up
The buzz of chainsaws that echoed across the state Sunday offered some reassurance five days after an ice storm shut down most of Kentucky.
