Plaque to be dedicated in memory of slain Bardstown police officer

The Bardstown Police Department announced Wednesday plans to dedicate a granite memorial plaque in memory of K-9 Officer Jason Ellis, who was shot and killed in the line of duty May 25. Keith Monument Company of Valley Station will be providing the black granite plaque, the department announced on its Facebook page Wednesday.
