The Regional Transportation Authority on Wednesday approved a route that will run from Agua Dulce and Banquete to Robstown and back.

That was the message from a town hall meeting Thursday night in Banquete where community leaders, residents and representatives from a local water authority and state enforcement agency gathered to discuss options.

Nueces County commissioners unanimously voted to change the name from Amistad Park to Amistad Veterans Memorial Park, ending a lingering debate over the moniker.
