LA council approves new traffic signal near Banning High

You don' t need to stop traffic so close to Avalon. YOu need an over pass ! We used to use the underground walk way which doesn't make sense anymore due to crime, but an overpass would better serve the situation.

Construction of an overpass would be too expensive. I'm sure the traffic signal will be synchronized with the Avalon/ PCH intersection.

I'm glad the neighborhood is finally getting this. I've heard of several people being killed or seriously injured due to the missing signal. It's simply way too inconvenient for anyone that lives near the Wrigley/Banning Park to go all the way down to Eubank or up Avalon.
