Lady Trojans shut out Lady Cats

A five-goal second half broke open Tuesday night's match in Leesburg as the Region 1AAAA leading Lee County High School Lady Trojans went on to shut out the Bainbridge Lady Cats 8-0. The Lady Trojans led 3-0 at half-time after scoring in the 13th, 17th and 21st minutes.

Decatur Co. settles in sexual harassment suit

The county's insurer agreed to pay Cindy Harrell $600,000. Harrell was the only woman ever employed by Decatur County Fire and Rescue and filed the lawsuit against the county last year claiming she was sexually harassed by her male co-workers.
