in all honesty, i know this happend a while ago but when i read it,.oh my god did it bring tears to my eyes. first of all these comments are some what hard to agree with or disagree with. no one really knows the whole truth. i feel very bad for it and i cant imagine how the father and mother of those 3 lil girls are coping with this. the family of the people in the suv also. they were good men..god bless them all,.i hope we all find the time to look at this and say damn we need to pay attention to those people we hurt or judge.sometimes all of us can be quite unfair and mean. women and men dont always agree and we dont always respect or appreciate our partners. we forget whats more important than bills and money or friends and a social life. children come first and pain should never push anyone to do anything this terrible./i read that she drove past other drivers and didnt even show any sign of recognition. sounds so strange for a person that even tho they claim she was drunk and high wouldnt notice headlights blinking or traffic flying by so fast from the opposite direction..its hard to understand what happend or what she was thinking at that moment,.mr shuler am sure feels very hurt and destroyed over this..i feel for you sir..even tho most people will try to cruxify you and your wife for this..its not for any of us to blame or point fingers..i hope and pray for all of you and that god has mercy on diane's soul..

"No one really knows the whole truth", you said the whole enchalada with that sentence alone, then you went and wrecked your self with the closing sentence, in which you portend that Diane Shuler was guilty of violating god for some reason.

Keeping in mind, your own statement, "no one really knows the whole truth", how do you know that diane wasn't suffering from a stroke or some other debilitating and suddenly onset illness, mental or physical, when she diverted down the highway the wrong way?

I agree with you. She was diabetic. They often become disoriented when they have sugar surges. I hope God has mercy on the souls that judge people so harshly for their own simple pleasures. So many people just want to find someone to blame.

Marijuana smoker for 13 yrs here...have not had a single car accident nor have caused harm to anyone.and yes i am a donor...the accident she caused was based on her decision making. i'm well able to make the right choices when i'm high...i know that if i drive drunk i might kill someone there for i don't do it...you can't put the blame on the drugs and alcohol you can only put the blame on the indivdual that decided to drive while intoxicated.

Regardless, and I hear what you're saying. However, they cannot prove alcohol CAUSED anything in regards to this crash.

One question , people were calling police , what took so long for them to get there ????? The husband is denying that she drank , but , I read one article, that she smoked pot, in her house, after the kids went to bed , which ment, the husband most likely smoked, with her .... Is this a true fact ?????? We make all kinds of laws for smoking cigerettes and pot , make laws for guns , but , we make no laws for the number one killer in America , ALCOHOL , maybe because so many of our law makers are alcoholics ??????
