Azle homeowner displays 'Hispanics Keep Out' sign

In reading through the Azle News today, I came across the "editorial" by the illustrious Bob Buckle, editor of said newspaper.
He like most of the rest of the posters here, moved completely away from the original point of the Ft. Worth article regarding this issue.

He, came riding in on his high horse of self righteous indignation knowing nothing of the people involved, their fears, their frustration, nor anything about them.
But, being the self professed, "devout Christian" that he pretends to be,(I understand that he is an elder in the church) what ever that may be.
He suddenly has all of the answers to the problems of, "illegals" which was mentioned in the original article. I sincerely doubt that he investigated the original article as that would take some degree of "professionalism" and as long as this paper has been in existence, "professionalism" is one word that is NOT associated with it.
Personally, I would not have used the word "Hispanics" in reference to not being allowed, but I think that anyone in todays society could understand the fears that these old folks face, particularly here in Azle. Let's be honest, here in Azle Texas, we read every day in the news of the increasing horrors of the "Illegals" with the rape, murder, theft, abuse, kidnapping that is going on. We have,(so I'm told) employers right here in Azle that hire "illegals" on a daily basis.
We have had an increasing crime rate for the last six years and there is no one that has the ability to address this issue.
Maybe, before we condemn people for their fears, we should look into why they feel this way and attempt to correct it.
This goes particularly to the, "devout christian" (leaders?) in our city. Always remember, there are two sides to any story, and usually three,(my side, your side and the truth). It is very rare if these sides were published in this newspaper. It's much easier to sit back and castigate those you don't agree with!

I would go a step further. I feel that all restaurants and other places of business should ask all people if they are a citizen before providing a service or servicing their needs. If they are not a citizen, turn them away. It is time that we Americans put an end to illegal immigration and the crime and poverty that they bring to our country.
