Horses found dead on Parker County ranch
BY ELIZABETH CAMPBELL Authorities are investigating the deaths of 11 horses on a 3,000-acre ranch just northeast of Lake Weatherford, possibly from inadequate access to food and water, Parker County Sheriff's investigators said.Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said 30 horses were on the property between Weatherford and Azle.
Galen Scott gscott@weatherforddemocrat.com At least six horses were found dead and one was euthanized after Parker County Animal Control Officers responded to unidentified property along FM 730 between Weatherford and Azle Wednesday.
