Man tries to rob bank in front of cops

Police in Avon say a man picked the wrong bank to rob yesterday morning. Demetrius James, 19, of Columbia, S.C., is accused of trying to hold up Avon Cooperative Bank, which is right across the street from the town's police headquarters, the Brockton Enterprise reports.
