The following is a press release from the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office: A 23-year old Stoughton man has been indicted and arrested for the September 20, 2011 murder of 23-year-old Kristopher Rosa in Avon, according to Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey and Avon Chief of Police Warren Phillips.

After working for the state as the Director of Homeland Security for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Fire Services, Kevin Partridge says he is ready to get back to doing what he enjoys most - providing public safety.

Kevin P. Partridge will take over as the new Easton Fire Chief, Town Administrator David Colton said in a statement Wednesday afternoon.

The driver, Lusvin Escobar, was the sole occupant of a 2005 Ford Mustang when he struck the wall of the tunnel shortly before 4 a.m., police said.
