METH HEADS CAUGHT AND JAILED IN SCOTT COUNTY
It has been a busy 24 hours for police and sheriff's deputies in Scott County, Indiana. They've taken down at least four dangerous meth labs and made several arrests since Tuesday night.
One location was discovered because tips from neighbors and the other after a vehicle fire and explosion. Scott County Sheriff John Lizenby explains, "We also had a lot of information with this same house that there had been a lot of meth activity there."
Police say at least three meth labs were discovered at a home in Austin, Indiana. "It was a trailer in York Road in Austin," Sheriff Lizenby says, adding that police went to the home after complaints from neighbors. "Knocked on the door with our officers," he says, "and we found Kathy Babcock inside."
Police say 41-year-old James Coomer and his girlfriend Kathy Babcock own the home, and actually agreed to let officers search the property. "He said, 'Sure, you'll not find anything in our trailer.'" But once the search began, police say they found more than enough to arrest the couple: "And inside one of the buildings we found an awful lot of ingredients of meth lab and some meth residue on some of the containers."
Altogether, police say they found three meth labs on the property, and that's when the couple was taken into custody. According to Lizenby, "They're in the Scott County Jail now, and they'll be charged with operating a meth lab. We also found some Oxycontin, so there will be some scheduled drugs arrests."
Meanwhile, two more people were arrested after Scott County police discovered what they believe to be a rolling meth lab in a stolen car on Terry Road. 41-year-old Michael Chilton and 35-year-old Elizabeth Hilliker were taken into custody at the scene.
And believe it or not, there's more. Scottsburg Police Assistant Chief Scott Zellers explains, "The fire department got called to a vehicle fire at Beechwood Park here in Scottsburg, and when they arrived there was a small explosion."
This charred pickup truck led to more arrests in connection with meth labs in Scott County. 23-year-old John Hawn, 21-year-old Heather White, and 26-year-old Jonathan White Jr. were also arrested and taken to the Scott County Jail. Zellers says, "They were apprehended leaving the scene when witnesses saw them throwing things out."
An Indiana State Police meth lab team helped dispose of all of the chemicals. Prosecutors are also looking at the cases, so there could be even more charges.

Hugh Pasley Ask For Searchers To Aid in Search For Brother
Hugh Pasley
said in the Austin Forum:
To all the people who want to help search for my brother Paul, please contact the Austin Police Dept. They will be able to tell you the places that have not been searched, and the places that need searched again. Please search in at least teams of 2, DO NOT GO ALONE! We need to keep a close watch on Bobby Riley. I know the Pasley family is not the only one that has been hurt by the actions of this person. There needs to be a block watch around the Riley home. At least 4 people have died suspiciously, or just plain disappeared. If you would like to volunteer in any way, you can contact me at hdpass64@aol.com. Please accept my sincere thanks for all the help we have received. The Pasley's will never give up. The reward is over $4,000 and climbing. Thanks again
