He was born July 22, 1939 in Aurora, Illinois to Henry and Edna Smith Flatt and lived in Richmond since 1984. Warren worked at Belden Corporation and Dana Corporation. He was a member of the Easter Seals, Junior Players and United Way Boards. He was a graduate and volunteer of Leadership Wayne County. Survivors include two sons Andrew (Shahnaz Islam) Flatt of Pendleton, and Gregory (Elizabeth) Flatt of Newburgh, five grandchildren Kamille, Moumita, Aubrey, Madelyn, and Jack, three brothers Fred (Linda) Flatt of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Daniel Flatt of Chandler, Arizona, and Gary (Mary Ann) Flatt of Aurora, Illinois, nieces and nephews. His parents are deceased. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Van Ausdal officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
