Field Services Captain Rod Getting will retire on Thursday, December 31, 2009, after dedicating more than 25 years to serving and protecting the citizens of Nebraska as an officer and commander.

Minor earthquake jolts southeast Nebraska
A minor earthquake has rattled southeast Nebraska but apparently caused little damage and no injuries.
A jolt for people in southeast Nebraska Wednesday night, as an earthquake rattled homes.
Officials say the 3.5 magnitude temblor struck just before 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. Seismologists indicate the quake's epicenter was located about two miles north of Auburn, Nebraska.
