With the opening of Auburn's new senior center, decisions needed to be made as to how much would be charged for those who wished to rent the space for events.

On Monday, April 29th, 2013 at 12:30 p.m., two African American males in a blue early 2000s model Ford pick-up truck with an attached trailer stopped at a residence on Walnut Street in Auburnand stole nine iron "I-beams." All of the "I-beams" were approximately 18-20 feet in length and 4-6 inches in width.

Jerry Caudill, 64, of Auburn was indicted by a Logan County Grand Jury April 26, 2013, on 36 counts of sexual abuse in the first degree.

Jeremy Kyle Gipson, 31, of Joelton, Tenn., formerly of Auburn, died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.

Tracy D. Owen, 19 of Lewisburg, was travelling east on Highway 68/80 in a 1998 Chevrolet when she collided with a 1987 Chevrolet pickup being driven by Troy L. Gregory, 18 of Auburn.

The recent investigation into a possible rural cemetery in the Auburn area being destroyed sparks question as to what to do if someone has a cemetery on their property, but doesn't know how to or who is responsible for taking care of it.
