Supervisor Wood said that she met with NYMIR (our insurance co.) Wood said they also asked about ATV’s on our roads. NYMIR said that they do not cover ATV’s on town roads and that the town would be liable if something happened. Wood added that a resolution had been prepared for tonight that would ban ATV’s from town roads (This protects the Taxpayers from being liable in the event of an ATV accident. In other words ATV riders must ride at their own risk).

I thought a resolution had to have a public hearing before it can be made. Pulse NYMIR does cover town roads for ATV travel all the town has to do is ask for the coverage and if the town has had no claims it shouldn't even affect the town insurance premium
