More than a dozen families in Aspen Hill are picking up the pieces. A massive fire swept through their apartment building, wiping out just about everything.

A family of three is without a home following a fire in their rented house in Aspen Hill Monday night, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service officials reported.
