THAMES got off to an inauspicious start after it was revealed that some road signs welcoming people to its renamed charms were placed in the wrong town.

Court records indicate Dothan Police investigators arrested David Lewis Cunningham, 35, of Ashford, and charged him with five felony drug crimes, including first-degree manufacturing of a controlled substance, three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and attempted possession of a controlled substance.
