Stop blaming the schools....
Town officials are looking for any cost savings, no matter how small, and are encouraging town employees to get direct deposit to save the cost of paper, he said. "We have hundreds of ideas like that," Johnson said. OK give us a list. There were no details or a list of ideas from the meeting. That is what is supposed to happen in a "brainstorming session" |

Stop blaming the schools? Yeah, right. Think about it. If town departments and townspeople could come up with 100 ideas to save $1,000 each Maureen Marshall would come up with five crazy ideas to urinate away $100,000 each. Get the picture? Then add a few more police officers at a cost of say $150,000 each (salary and bennefits)... oh, I give up!!!!

I said stop blaming the schools not the superintendent. If the local finance committees would look closely at the school budget, the promises she has made and broken over the last year, where she has spent the money and what she is planning to do ( regionalization) it is not hard to save ~150,000 in the school budget. |
