ARTEMAS, Pa. -- Orleans Volunteer Fire Chief John Clingerman said Thursday's fire at the Columbia Gas Transmission compressor station was the biggest fire he has fought in his 24 years of volunteer fire service.

A gas line exploded in Artemas, PA. at 12:30 a.m. Thursday. Officials say the explosion happened near Green Ridge Road and Crooked Run Road near the Columbia Gas plant.
