A Logan County coroner's jury says the deaths of five members of a Beason family were homicides, but an investigator who testified during the inquest didn't offer any new public details.

An Armington woman, accused of providing a false alibi for one of the murder suspects in Gee family murders in Logan County got her bond reduced Thursday and is headed to Florida prior to his trial.

J ennifer Earnest of Armington appeared in Logan County Circuit Court today at 10:25 a.m. Earnest, represented by Lincoln attorney Jim Grimaldi, pleaded not guilty to a charge of obstruction of justice in the Gee family homicide.

Duncan is accused of providing false information in the form of an alibi for Christopher J. Harris, 30, of Armington.

Investigators in Logan County say they are confident the killers of the Gee family are in custody and the case is now moving into the prosecution phase.

Jason Harris of Armington Illinois and the brother of Christopher Harris was charged late Thursday afternoon with five counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted murder in the slaying of the Raymond Gee family.

The brother of the man accused of killing five in Beason, Illinois last month has been arrested by Logan County Deputies along with his girlfriend and her mother in connection with the murders.
