An Armington woman, accused of providing a false alibi for one of the murder suspects in Gee family murders in Logan County got her bond reduced Thursday and is headed to Florida prior to his trial.

J ennifer Earnest of Armington appeared in Logan County Circuit Court today at 10:25 a.m. Earnest, represented by Lincoln attorney Jim Grimaldi, pleaded not guilty to a charge of obstruction of justice in the Gee family homicide.

Duncan is accused of providing false information in the form of an alibi for Christopher J. Harris, 30, of Armington.

Investigators in Logan County say they are confident the killers of the Gee family are in custody and the case is now moving into the prosecution phase.

Three people are accused of obstructing justice in the Beason investigation. Chris Harris is accused of killing the Gee family at their Beason home and now his brother 22-year-old Jason Harris of Armington, his brother's girlfriend, 24-year-old Jennifer Earnest also of Armington, and Earnest's mother, 43-year-old Sara Duncan of Sarasota, Florida ...

Jason Harris of Armington Illinois and the brother of Christopher Harris was charged late Thursday afternoon with five counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted murder in the slaying of the Raymond Gee family.

The brother of the man accused of killing five in Beason, Illinois last month has been arrested by Logan County Deputies along with his girlfriend and her mother in connection with the murders.
