School boundary changes discussed

Contrary to somewhat popular belief, there was more to the building of new schools than simply supporting area education.

Changes to RCS coming next year
There will be some noticeable changes at some Rush County Schools when students return in the fall of 2010, including a move that will split Rushville Elementary into two separate schools housed in the same building.

The first day of classes for RCS students grades 1 to 12 is Aug. 12. Enrollment and registration for some local schools gets underway this week.
