Report: Man not wearing seat belt in fatal crash

A 50-year-old Arkdale man who died after a train hit the vehicle he was driving in western Adams County was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the Adams County Sheriff's Department.

Arkdale man dies in central WI truck-train crash

The Adams County Sheriff's Department says Brian A. Bernal was driving south, came to a complete stop at a stop sign and then proceeded across the railroad tracks, into the path of a westbound Union Pacific freight train just before 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
