The Hill County Sheriff's Office made an arrest at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, April 15. Authorities contacted a 39-year-old Aquilla man at the intersection of Highway 22 and Farm Road 933 in Whitney.

Greater than normal rainfall through the beginning of 2012 has filled the county's two lakes to normal levels and above for the first time since 2010 at Whitney and 2011 at Aquilla.
