A blow-out that threw a vehicle out of control on Interstate 44 near Rolla resulted in a crash that sent four people to hospital with serious injuries Thursday, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Dones Eugene Bumgardner, 88, of Appleton City, formerly of Lebanon, died Friday, May 29, 2009, at Heartland of Willow Lane in Butler.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Fenwick will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were united in marriage on June 12, 1949 at the United Methodist Church in Appleton City, Mo.
