On September 7, regulators at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency denied a water quality certification permit to a proposed mega-farm, Tradition Dairy.

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency has denied the Traditions megadairys Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certification application, which was originally submitted by the Nora facility on July 25, 2008.
