As usual, Big Lake missed that development bus. Let's just build another bar or liquer store so the city can get more dollars.

Incompetent city leaders in Big Lake have made, and continue to make completely ridiculous decisions as it relates to NorthStar and the growth they BELIEVED was going to take place when this train came to town. These city council members continue to use our tax money to purchase land to develop, under the false belief that businesses will certainly wish to locate here.

The city purchased the mall site and immediately promised to fill it with tenants. Today, almost 5 years later, almost half of it remains empty. More empty promises by our mayor, and two other council members who promise change and but do nothing but keep us taxpayers in debt through their own incompetence.

Go into city hall and demand a list of all the properties that the City of Big Lake has purchased under this administration that still remains empty, with unfulfilled promises.

Our city leaders placed all their eggs into the Northstar basket and there are no more new businesses in town today with the train running than there were years ago. The city bought up all this land, hoping that this stupid train would build their own legacies as the mayor and city council. They were all going to brag about how the city benefitted from buying up this land and selling it to developers, who later opened businesses along the Northstar line. Well... we are still waiting Mayor, Duane, Chuck...

If you are a Big Lake graduate, our city has other things to worry about rather than buildings. Holy Cow!!! Did the Big Lake School District ever teach you how to use things such as periods, commas and full sentences? How about grammar and spelling? Hilarious!!!!
