Marine Corps Pfc. Sheldon D. Long completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, S. C. He is the son of Evelyn and J.H. Long of Knoxville.

The first two were arrested Friday , April 20, after an officer stopped a car for speeding on Mountain Road in Andersonville.
