By Chris McGuinness Killeen Daily Herald College graduates participating in two local commencements will witness the end of an era or the beginning of a new one, depending on the speakers at their respective ceremonies.

"We're celebrating Cinco de Mayo on West Sixth Street. We have a block where everyone can go from venue to venue and eat, drink and celebrate Cinco de Mayo," Star Bar and Rattle Inn Co Owner Kevin Williamson said.

Anderson Volunteer Fire Department in Grimes county is having a fundraiser on April 28th at 6pm at the KC Hall in Anderson .

It is a public corporation formed as a Joint Action Agency to provide reliable electric power to the four member cities.
