Empty chairs used to memorialize local soldiers killed in Vietnam War
An empty section of lawn at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial of Lorain County played host Saturday to 98 empty chairs, each placed in honor of a local soldier who never came home.
The Lorain County General Health District's Vital Statistics Office houses the birth and death records beginning in 1908 to the present.
