You are right Carl or his family didn't get justice but they can be proud that they sure tried. They did everything they possibly could. At least it will be 22 plus years before they have to be at a parole hearing to keep the scum where he belongs. Believe me, they won't forget to be there.

Unfortunately, plea bargaining is a necessary evil in criminal law. The evidence, the jury, the testimony during the trial could have resulted in this turkey getting less time in jail. He has been subkected to Man's law but has yet to face God's judgement. Although, I agree that the Franklin County DA has to be far less in the plea bargain mode!

I saw north up close and he is one freaky looking bastard. I hope every minute for the rest of his evil worthless life is miserable beyond description. I heard he hates jail. Guess he better get used to it because he'll never make it out.

I have no doubt in my mind he would kill again. That's what he is. He's a serial killer. I have a suspicion he has already practiced somewhere else that no one knows about. I hope he rots in hell. I hope he IS in hell in jail. All he ever did was cause misery for other people. Now its time that he's on the receiving end. Maybe he'll steal someone's potato chips and they'll run a shank through his head.

Yeah, if he ever got out he would really be pissed off and just look for someone to kill. He'd need a car, money, and plastic surgery again to look like the guy in the drivers license. What a moron. I think it runs in the family.

Struggle for a gun? Maybe it was self defense. Carl sure made his feelings about Scott known.

ByeBye.. how cute! You must be a path valley'er or someone with no intelligence and/or life. I was only trying to be a devil's advocate. No one deserves to die violently & at the hands of such a dumb a**. Everyone who knows, knows that these two had a feud. Granted, Carl was right... I was just trying to shed some light on this infuriating situation. However, it's just wonderful that you wish me dead for sharing my thoughts. Go Franklin County/Pennsyltucky/back woods usa. Lets not be mean to retards. Most of them would probably hate Scott North. I know I do. Just saying that it might be a hard case to prove to our liberal leaning juries.

pic in. There was no feud. north stole Carl's guns and he fired him after a 3 week employment with his fencing business. That was that. north went to jail later for burglarizing another person and that was also that. Two years later he returned for revenge and a car after he walked off work release. You go ahead and be the devil's advocate. The devil doesn't have enough support as it is in this world. You really did your part to shed some light. da!

the family of scott knew that the day would come when he would kill, but we thought it would be another person, the most of are family stood be hind carl family and sent stuff to the state and dea office, to get justice for carl. some of scott family was also related to carl. so please don't put the family on trail with scott. thank the judical system for what he did. If they would have look at his record, they would have never let him out on work release.

I call BS

The system owed no obligation. His parents first and foremost failed him...after that follow the chain outward. Don't blame the game, blame the players. And, when in doubt; blame the evil 1&*(^&*^ that pulled the trigger.

I don't think fair justice was met... but there isn't really anything that could be done that would equal justice. North has no remorse for anything he's done ever, therefore I feel that even torture wouldn't suffice. Which leads to my belief that he easily could use some mentally ill shit in his favor. I think that in the current state of our justice system, the plea bargain was the most appropriate answer. The Ryders did all they could and fought beyond their strength. 3 years is a long time... ~God Speed~

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Virgo

Words are flying around in all directions today, and the conversations will be fast and furious. You might face a lot of distractions and interruptions, or you could get caught up in some rather irritable slanging matches with a certain person. The busier you are, the more fraught you'll become and the more likely to go off the deep end.
