It was a total non sequitur for Kauffman to say the "Harrisburg Harlots" are listening when he and Alloway submitted bills to continue spending taxpayers' money for the Scotland School for Some Veterans Children. Kauffman's credibility is zero. He IS the kind of politican the TEA party protesters hold in disdain. As for Socialist Rendell, he should follow Sarah Palin's lead and resign now because he is a lame duck.

Mike is eactly right. Kauffman did not pay any attention about the Scotland school issue and Shuster voted for Tarp aginst the wishes of the people he represents.

Unlike TEA parties held earlier this year in other cities, which were not dominated by a policital party, the one held last Saturday was a Republican Party event. IMHO, Shuster, Alloway, Kauffman, and any politican who forgets he is a servant of the people and votes against the will of the people should be shown the door the next time they run for re-election. Kauffman's claim that members of the general assembly are listening requires willing suspension of disbelief. Who is he speaking about? Rendell who wants a 16% tax increase is not listening and his Democratic Party minions in the general assembly are not listening. Seems Rob told the Republican crowed what they wanted to hear. Sad.

I see that Allen Piper is still "talking the talk" without "wallking the walk." He could be running for the Tuscarora School Board as several other people are. I don't understand why he would pass up that opportunity to show everyone how to be the perfect public official.

I, too, was a little disappointed that it was not a more bipartisan event, but hey, somebody organized it so good for them! I was so proud of our town when I came down the street and saw the crowd. My granddaughters saw democracy in action. If there is another, however, I hope the organizers show real bipartisan efforts to better include ALL like-minded Americans.

Hmmmm...workers added at Letterkenny, workers called back to JLG, stock market up, albeit slowly, gas prices still pretty low for the current situation, fewer mortgage foreclosures....nah, the stimulus plan ain't working. <grumble, grumble> Buncha Rush Limpballs KoolAid chuggers...now they're dragging their kids into it and poisoning their minds. Don't let the kids thing for themselves. Indidviual thought is being banned in schools as it is.

The scary part is that it was sponsored by the YOUNG Republicans and that a Boy Scout Troop had the "best sign." Which means there's another generation of unthinking morons coming along.

Unreal that Kauffman had the gaul to show up. They should have boo'd him to the point that he'd leave and go back to chum with his Harrisburg chronies. He's part of the problem. they are all the problem. government is evil.

Actually there were a lot of registered Democrats there and I was one of them. If people believed in the message, they should have shown up regardless of what political affiliation was hosting it. Part of the problem weith our society is everyone sees things in black and white...you are either a Democrat or a Republican, but people need to join together and realize this economy has come from both political parties and it is going to take a j0oint effort to have it fixed.

It was good to see the wide variety of messages displayed. I'm so glad we didn't miss this event for an early BBQ.
