Alton, Thayer license office contracts up for bid

Did you ever stop to think that the lady at Thayer might have been having a bad day when you were in there? Everyone has a bad day and sometimes they show it and don't realize how it looks to others. She may have been ill or maybe someone before you was mean to her. I am sure that her job isn't easy. People get mad about things that are beyond their control. Go in and be nice to her and give her another chance. She might be a totally different person the second time. Everyone can't be nice ALL of the time! Cut her some slack. I know I wouldn't want her job! It is a huge responsibility---lots of rules and regulations to follow. People also react to how they are treated--were you rude to her? Was she just reacting? Think about it before you judge her so harshly.

Bad day and work for the public I am sure that is so but whatever caused the issue of a bad day needs to be checked at the door. That is called CUSTOMER SERVICE. She provides service to the area residents and when I go to ANY store is West Plains, Thayer, Alton I do expect good customer service. I give respect and I expect it. Sounds like to me you personally know about the situation.....HUH?

Bad day,huh. My ass. I gave her a second and third try. I guess every day is a bad day. She took my title and tore itin half all because the seller signed in the wrong place. So seller had to go apply for a replacement title which took 3 weeks. And in the mean time I'm stuck with a car that I can't drive. It was my only transportation.

WOW!! She is rude isn't she, I'm not sure what I would have done she destroyed property that was NOT hers and that's wrong.

That's one person's opinion. She is very nice and doesn't take forever to get the work done like the slug in Alton. Maybe if you didn't go in with a chip on your shoulder and expect everyone to kiss your butt they might be a bit nicer to you.

Never once was I rude to her, but I refuse to patronise anywhere that I'm done wrong. I called Jefferson City and complained. She was told to not be that way again. They even sent a replacement title for free. She ripped up my title the first time that I was in there. Like I said, I gave her a second and third try. Same kind of crap. She is just a bitch. I also don't think she should have her baby or grandchild in there while she is working. On my second trip there I had to wait while she tended the kid. My boss would fire me for either one of those things.

You are right and if the same thing happened to any of these people they would be just as upset.

Ok, so you made your point. I have been in both places and have found them both to be helpful. I think it just depends on what time of day you go. It seems like they aren't busy in the mornings and you don't have to wait very long if you go in early. I know I would not want their jobs! Seems like a lot of hassle if you ask me. I guess if you don't like it you could always go to West Plains. Now that place is a pain! You stand in line for hours and no one even really speaks to you.

If she had ripped your title in 2 you would have been angry also.

Anybody that talks so rudely on these blogs is the opinion I would question. I have never seen her be anything but kind, patient, and helpful, although she does have severe migraines...now I know why. You guys must have a miserable life. I'm not family, but I do know this situation. And she tries to help with her grandchild because the mom is getting her education. You guys are probably some of the folks that don't want their kids to listen to the President encourage them in their education, too. If she ever tore up a title, it was an accident or something that was done horribly wrong that she was trying to prevent from being illegal, would be more likely. If I had customers like you, I'd PREFER you go elsewhere.

I have never had a bad experience with the lady in Thayer. I bought a van from a lady last year & they signed the title in the wrong place, and she didn't rip MY title in half. She just nicely told me and the lady who I bought from to reapply with a different title. She did it very nicely.

No I do not have a miserable life. I have a pretty good one. All that was wrong with the title was that the seller signed in the wrong place. She had no right to tear it up. I know most of the people in town and even the cops will tell you that I would be one of the last persons that they would suspect of doing something illegal. I register 5 different vehicles every year, so it wasn't like she didn't know who I was. And yes, I am one of those people who don't want my kids listening to a known LIAR.

Which lie do you want? How about "Nobody making under $250,000 a yr. will see a tax increase". How about "If you like your health insurance, you can keep it".How about how he screwed all the car dealerships on cash for clunkers. How about claiming that he didn't know where Air Force One was on the day that it flew over New York City for a publicity opportunity. That one cost us $3,000,000 dollars. So did he raise your taxes? By the way if that happens that will be because of congress.

Did he take your insurance from you? You do realise tah all they are doing is trying to find ways to make it more affordable for all americans. The way it is now is those with good jobs have insurance those that are old have medicare those that are extremly poor have government health care but for those of us in the middle it's not so good.

Now cash for clunkers, that was such a success that they extended it unfortunatly alot of us coundn't afford to take advantage of it.

Air Force one someone allready to the credit for that one.

About the Christian statement we are one nation under God not by God we are a nation full of christians but for the sake of the union we are to have a seperation of church and state if not should we follow the Babtist and which one of those or the Methodist or Mormons just which should it be. Before you get made and reply try to just take the meaning of these comments. Whether we are Dem or Rep it is in our best interest that this administration succeeds.

I think it is very possible you were trying to do something illegal or wrong and she caught you and you are mad now. I don't think she tore up your title and I think you are just trying to blame someone else for your mistakes. I have watched this woman work with people that are stupid and there are some really stupid ones trying to stick it to the government. Sounds like you might be one of those. Especially since you seem to just be going on and on and on about how you are one of the last people the police would "suspect of doing something illegal" sounds to me like you have and are afraid of being caught.

I know that that is a FLAT OUT LIE that does not ever happen in the office. You want to discuss this further come by and if you were literate enough to read you would know what was on the title and where to sign. You need to check your self before you start calling a respected REVERAND'S WIFE A B****.

Let me have your name because Jefferson City records all phone conversations and emails in this office and we have pulled the video feed and I can assure you that if you will just give me your name we can let the world see what was really said and done. And by the way the land lord is a STATE TROOPER.....Think twice before you spread liable lies you can be sued for that.
