Don't come to Lake Ave. and Sacramento St. because all you will see are the unkept homes (including the townhomes- I guess they don't believe in homeowner association fees) and all the abandoned cars of the non-residents parked on the street (that have'nt been moved in months). What is up with parking enforcement? How come they don't check these streets more often for these kind of infractions.

It is interesting why people can not use their own digicams or mobile phone cameras. I am sure that there are many amateur photographers amongst them.

That area must be part of the ghetto.

Abandoned vehicles, nothing new for the low life areas. You should blame law enforcement for allowing that to happen. After one week without being driven, those junks should be towed away.

Yeah, what's up w the slowwwww removal of abandoned vehicles? It seems to be contracted out, but the PD doesn't efficiently inform the contractor of abandoned vehicle reports?... what's up with that?

This area has gotten better but there are still many residents that don't care. Maybe it's because they are just "tenants" rather than homeowners but then I think the property owners should be held liable. The Blockbuster there doesn't help much either...their parking lot is always filthy. ABC printing on the opposite side of the street got redone but I don't think it will find any tenants soon with the street sweepers never coming by. Altadena Board... where are you to help the few property owners that suffer lower property values because of this?

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aquarius

You're in a tricky position because someone who is supposed to know what they're talking about seems to be spouting complete nonsense instead. If this is an older friend or relative then you can simply smile politely and wait for them to rejoin the rest of us on Planet Earth. But if it's a boss or bureaucrat who's talking rubbish or giving you some puzzling orders, you'll be in a quandary about what to do.
