This was also Cash's third charge for driving on a revoked license. Sgt. Dana Looper, of the Algood Police Department, told the Herald-Citizen that she stopped the vehicle around 12:30 p.m. yesterday for a brake light violation.

City Councilman Chris Anderson defeated two other candidates for Democratic state executive committeeman for District 10. He had 2,833 votes to 1,914 for Kenneth Love and 748 for Billy Joyner.
