Two local nursing home residents were honored by the state this past week. Howard and Mildred Mahler, two residents of Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation at Masters Health Care Center in Algood, were honored by the Tennessee Health Care Association/Tennessee Long-term Care last week.
