The Broadway Streetscape project in downtown Albert Lea replaced two intersection's stoplights with stop signs last summer. They plan to do the same with the stoplight at the intersection of Newton Ave. and Clark St. First, they are required to do a 90-day study with flashing reds to make sure it will work as planned.
