Douglas shooting kills teenager

Seems like I remember D.J. from East Coffee Middle School several years ago.

So has the acquaintance been arested?

the guy that shot him was jonathon thompson. i was at the hospital when they brought the 18 year old in. it was tragic. there was over 100 people there with the boy. theres been more to happen since the shooting. like the shooters house was burnt and then somebody called in a bomb threat towards the shooters 3 children at coffee middle school. when i find out more i will update.

its a shame this has to happen to a young man that had his whole life ahead of him,should of stayed in school ,if only we would know the price we have to pay.................

I hope they also catch the persons responsble for the fire and the threats his children are also inocent victims they didnt pull the trigger

i believe some of his family did that 2 collect insurance money,only thing DJ,FAMILY IS WORRY ABOUT IS JON JON BEING CAUGHT,AND JON JON WILL HAVE 2 DEAL WITH THE LORD AND THE LAW WITH HE HAVE DONE,and by the way HIS FAMILY PROBALY DID THAT THREAT AT THE CMS,JUST LIKE THEY DID THE HOUSE ,2 COVER FOR WHAT JON JON DONE DID.ALL THAT WAS A PLOT 2 HIDE JON JON OUT.SO KEEP HIS FAMILY OUT OF IT AND LET THE BOY RIP

DJ WAS 18 AND JONJON WAS 33...HE WASNT KILLED AT A CLUB HE GOT SHOT AT THE CENTER IN FRONT OF OUR PARK...I MISS HIM ALREADY....I KEEP SEEIN HIM AND HEARIN HIM INSIDE MY HEAD....HE JUST GOT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL IN MAY...AND @JELLYROLL DONT ASSUME THE THREATS CAME FROM AN ACQUAINTANCE OF DJ....BUT YEAH THAT HAPPENED AND JONJONs HOUSE WAS BURNED DOWN...JONJON IS STILL ON THE RUN AND I THINK HIS BROTHER TOO....NO ITS NOT GANG RELATED WE DONT HAVE GANGS IN DOUGLAS TO SPEAK OF....

They didn't burn the house themselves, and yeah alot of people were at the hospital with my boy because he was a good friend to alot of people. Including me, and as far as the arson no they didnt do that themselves they were paying rent not mortgage; so them doing that would not bring any money to speak of because only the front of the house was burned.

@little george wtf are you talking about he should have stayed in school? you dont even know what this really all came from. whether he was in school or not the original source of all this still would have liably happened and it has nothing to do with a fight at the club. that was another aftermath to the original problem. and as far as staying in school he had just finished high school in may.

D.j was a sweet boy if you didn't know him you can't make accusations. Regardless of hoe other people may characterize him if you didn't know him for yourself you can't judge. I personally knew him and I hope the killer it bought to justice. D.j was a child and goin out killin ppl doesnt solve anything he life is gone and the killers will be too becaue now when they catch him he gone go to jail now his kids aint got their father with them. Somethings people need to thank and use judgement before doing silly things. No one knows who really called with the threats or set the house on fire b/c nobody names have been given nor arrests relating to any of the incidents so quit assuming things you have no knowledge about...D.j May you rest in peaace and look out over your mother because her only son has been takin away from and now she has nobody she already lost a husband to a car accident now her son... Veronica I pray God give you all the strength to endure all the pain you are going through and my prayers goes out to all of his family and friends and his girlfriend.
