The Madera County Sheriff's Department is asking the public's help in identifying a man who died in a hit-and-run crash Sunday.

A man and woman riding a motorcycle on Avenue 21 near Road 31 were killed after they attempted to avoid a pickup truck that turned in front of them, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP officers say the driver of a pickup -- later identified as 41-year-old Gary Ragsdale -- was drunk as he pulled into a driveway.

A 29-year-old Ahwahnee man wanted on suspicion of a string of burglaries, domestic violence and vehicle theft turned himself in to Madera County sheriff's authorities today.

The Madera County Sheriff's Department says 29-year-old Jason Anthony Lagow from Ahwahnee -- is wanted in connection to domestic violence, vehicle theft, and several burglaries.
