Chief Alan Sirois of the Agawam Fire Department told 22News that a passerby called 911 reporting smoke and fire coming from 41 Spencer Street just after 5:30 a.m. Firefighters arrived shortly after and were able to contain the flames and smoke within a half an hour, and did a thorough search of the home.

Humason Jr., R-Westfield, is looking for constituents of the 2nd Hamden-Hampshire District interested in participating in the state's annual Citizens' Legislative Seminar scheduled for Oct. 14 and 15.
