The unofficial start of the summer season begins tonight as many families prepare to hit the road to celebrate Memorial Day weekend with some hiking, biking, boating or picnicking.

AGAWAM -- A man and a woman wanted on multiple warrants were arrested by police Sunday night after they were spotted in the area of the Julia B. Buxton Bridge, which runs between Agawam and Springfield's South End.
