The Bartow County Sheriff's Office reported that a 18-year-old Adairsville resident overnight as a result of what they believe was a self-inflicted accidental gunshot wound.
Pedestrian hit at intersection of Hwy 225 and Hwy 41
Update: According to the Georgia State Patrol, pedestrian, Amanda Suzanne Hudson, 18, of Athens, Tenn., was walking east from a store parking lot and walked into the path of an oncoming 2005 Ford Ranger at around 10:50 a.m. The driver of the Ranger, Shon Ashley Evans, 21, of Adairsville, could not stop in time before hitting Hudson.
