A public meeting will be held Thursday in Enunclaw to allow the pulic the chance to comment on a potential land exchange and adjustment to the long-term boundary at Nolte State Park.

A plan for what will be the largest of the county's parks was approved Tuesday, May 8, but there was no evidence of celebration in Whatcom County Council chambers after the vote.

A National Heritage official declined to specify what went wrong. She refused to comment on an El Mundo newspaper report that the instrument fell off a table during a photo session.
